About Jigawatts Studio

After graduating from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, Jennifer Beam began her career designing marketing materials for national pharmaceutical product launches. She moved to Colorado and was recruited as an on-staff graphic designer at Children’s Hospital Colorado, a nationally-ranked pediatric hospital. While at Children’s Colorado she designed, and coordinated production for, marketing and patient education materials, conference booths, hospital-published magazines, training materials, physician relations campaigns, direct mail and social media.

During her 10+ years at Children’s Colorado, the hospital changed its logo, moved to a new medical campus and changed its name to reflect its growing national and global reputation. Despite these challenges to maintaining a dynamic, consistent visual image, many pieces from Jennifer’s portfolio received national and regional design awards. 

In 2012, Jennifer established Jigawatts Studio with a focus on design, marketing, web and social media for the healthcare community, non-profits and small businesses.
